How can I understand the Bible better?

Many Christians read the Bible but still struggle to understand how it fits together.

The Bible becomes clearer when Scripture is studied with context, discipleship, and time.

A focused season can help by bringing together:

  • structured Bible teaching
  • daily discipleship
  • Christian community
  • the land and setting where much of Scripture unfolded

In Jerusalem, students read Scripture in the place where many of these events actually happened.

Acts 1:8 Jerusalem is a 10-week Christian discipleship program and gap semester in Jerusalem for young adults ages 18–30.

Students study Scripture, walk the land, and live in community while building a stronger foundation for faith, ministry, missions, or what comes next.

Understanding the Bible is not only about gaining more information.

It is about seeing the story more clearly and learning how to live faithfully inside it.

This approach reflects a discipleship model built around Scripture, community, and context rather than information alone.

For many students, growth begins by stepping away from the normal pace of life long enough to build a stronger foundation.
